Monday Shakespeare lesson 3

We used vowels and consonants to woo or argue with our partners. We then had to decide which was easier to use in the situation we were given. I found that when I wanted to woo someone it was easier to use vowels because they showed more emotion because in real life we use them to make people feel more emotion for example; crying, anger.
We watched a scene where Darcy and Amber performed using vowels. You could hear the emotion in their voices which made the scene feel more realistic and you felt persuaded about what the scene was about. Plosive vowels were used when we wanted to show a pulse of anger because they sound more forced which was helpful to do during the exercise.
